< Back
Beat Bully Trivia is a free trivia game related to football and the legendary Steve Bull. The questions are multiple choice and about Bully’s career, the Wolves past and present, the 80’s and 90’s (when Steve played) and the Wolverhampton area. You have to try and answer not only correctly, but also faster than Steve did when we asked him the questions! The faster you answer, the more points you get! The expert mode allows you to play with your most liked football public figures and get a chance to be part of a lucky draw to win priceless, meaningful prizes such as signed t-shirts, caps, video calls or messages from Steve Bull himself.
The Challenge
Trivia games are very popular in this day and age. This category usually consists of a set of questions that need to be answered correctly within a time limit. Questions are related to numerous topics depending on what you’re interested in. However, we recognised a gap in the gaming world, there was an absence of featuring and playing trivia with public figures. The challenge was to create a trivia game related to football with famous players who would be participating with you. Hence, a chance to play with legendary football players was the proposed idea.
The Plan
Create a football related trivia game application with time constraints for answering questions correctly
Player with the most correct answers wins
Introduce an expert mode in which players get a chance to beat their favorite football players and win priceless prizes that can’t be bought off the shelf
Design the game as if popular football players were asking the questions themselves and get a chance to beat them
No repetition of questions
The Result
The game was released in 2020 during the peak of a pandemic and it gained instant popularity.
Players interested in football take a part in these competitions and get registered in the lucky draw from which 3 lucky winners are selected through a Facebook live video.
Prizes include signed t-shirts, caps, video calls or messages from Steve Bull himself.
